The year was 1966 when Jim decided it was time to start making people happy. He had learned his camera technique in high school, correspondence courses, IUV and many conventions on bridal photography. Photographing about 40 weddings per year, printing and developing his own film with his wife, Caryl, who did the booking, billing and assembly of the bridal albums, they were very busy.

The following year a daughter was born, Amie Elizabeth Meister. She was nurtured in love and affection. Growing up in a photographic environment, it naturally rubbed off on her. Amie chose to go to Andrews University majoring in photography. Upon completion of her degree, she went to work in the family business.

Amie now manages the family business on a day-to-day basis. Her excitement for photography spills over on the wedding day, always capturing the mood and color of this once in a lifetime experience.

Jim works on the technical aspects of photography, with assistance in helping to make your perfect wedding go smoothly.
